18MM Photography was started by Kristian Smith, a photographer that specializes in studio portraiture and event photography. With an emphasis on high-quality fashion and photography, he provides a unique and memorable experience for his clients. By focusing on creating vivid stories through the lens, he captures moments that express far more than words can say. 

 

Born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in the Washington DC Metropolitan area, Kristian ventured into the world photography at the age of 25. He studied photography and its many aspects at the Washington School of Photography where he became a certified professional photographer.

 

Inspiried by urban fashion, city life, and different genres of music, Kristian has developed a style that will soon be known by many.
